nam'ipokai

“nam'ipokai” is the Blackfoot word for sky; the Ancestors look down from Nam’ipokai. A replica of the forest below that always seems to be summer. The ancestors enjoy this forest in the sky! Many tribe members say the millions of stars are their ancestors seated in Nam’ipokai, looking down upon them, watching over them. No one knows what happens to the wolves who do the most harm to tribe accept the Ancestors.
